The editors have meticulously curated key facts—selected for their instructional, memorable, surprising, or counterintuitive nature—from each chapter. This aggregation serves as a practical tool for students, residents, and veterinarians to efficiently review pivotal concepts in an electronic flashcard format. It is particularly suited for exam preparation, updating knowledge on recent advancements, and reinforcing critical elements of canine and feline internal medicine.

Key features include:

  • 820 individual entries sourced directly from the textbook.
  • A comprehensive overview with at least one entry from each of the 360 chapters.
  • A shuffle function to facilitate random review.
  • Customizable tags (Favorite, Revisit, Knew It!) for creating personalized subcollections.
  • Note-taking capabilities for personal comments.
  • A search function to locate facts by specific keywords.
  • Chapter titles and author names provided for each fact to facilitate further exploration if desired.

This application is designed to accommodate several key uses:

  • Efficiency in reviewing essential facts selected by the editors from over 2200 pages of content.
  • Preparation for various board examinations, including NAVLE®, ACVIM, ECVIM, and other specialty assessments.
  • Enrichment of personal knowledge and lifelong learning in the field of veterinary medicine.
